Questions about the My Security Health Plan registration process

 

How do I start the registration process?
Go to  www.securityhealth.org, and click on “My Account” in the upper right hand corner, then click “Register” under the “Members” icon. Follow the prompts on the screen to complete the process.

What is needed for registration?
You will need to enter your name, date of birth and subscriber or Medicaid number. Once you’ve created a username and password, you will be asked to verify your identity. There are three ways to verify your identity.

  1. If the email address you entered matches the email address Security Health Plan has on file for you, you can verify your identity with a link sent to you by Security Health Plan via email.
  2. Answer personal questions based on your credit report.
  3. Have a Personal identification number (PIN) sent to you via mail and log in once received.

How do I create a username and password?
After entering  your name, date of birth and subscriber or Medicaid number on the registration page, you will be asked to create a username and password.

How can I verify the email address Security Health Plan has on file for me?
Call our Customer Service team to update your email at 1-800-472-2363 (TTY 711), Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

How can I verify my identify during the account registration process?
There are three ways to verify your identity:

  1. If the email address you entered in the account registration process matches the email address Security Health Plan has on file for you, you can verify your identity with a link sent to you by Security Health Plan via email.
  2. Answer personal questions based on your credit report.
  3. Have a PIN number sent to you via mail and log in to your My Security Health Plan account once you receive the PIN.

How do I login to My Security Health Plan?
Go to  www.securityhealth.org, and click on “My Account” in the upper right hand corner of your screen, then click “Login” under the “Members” icon.

My PIN has expired, what do I do?
If you attempt to log in after your PIN has expired, a new PIN will be mailed to you automatically, you do not need to request it.

Questions about your My Security Health Plan password

I changed my password but the new password isn't working. What should I do?
Confirm you do not have Caps Lock on, if you are sure you are typing the password in correctly, click on “Forgot Password” on the login screen to receive an email to reset your password. 

I have received emails but can't log in with that email address, why not?
If you share an email address with another My Security Health Plan user, try logging in with the other user’s login.

I clicked the reset password button but the email link is expired, what can I do now?
Be sure you are using the most recent password reset link emailed to you. We recommend deleting old password reset emails so you don’t inadvertently use an old link. Repeat the password reset process by clicking on “Forgot Password” on the login page.

My Security Health Plan works best on Google Chrome, Firefox and Internet Explorer.

How do I update my mailing address?
Call our Customer Service team at 1-800-472-2363 (TTY 711), Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. to update your mailing address.

I am not receiving email from Security Health Plan. How can I fix this?
Some members who use Microsoft email services, including Hotmail, Live, Outlook and MSN do not receive emails from Security Health Plan. This is an issue we are aware of. Be sure to add securityhealth.org as a safe sender. Then, be sure to leave enough time for your email vendor to update the safe sender list before trying the process again.
