Reimbursement Recovery Process

The reimbursement recovery process allows Security Health Plan  to recoup overpayments made to Security Health Plan    contracted and non-contracted facilities and providers when payment errors have occurred. All verifiable overpayments of a claim by a Payer will be corrected by means of a recoupment.  The practice of recoupments of overpayments will reflect on subsequent Payer remittances.
