Medicare Supplement

Worry less about high out-of-pocket costs when you need health care. And you can see the doctor you want.

You can see any provider

With our Medicare Supplement you  have the freedom to use any  doctor in the United States who has not opted out of Medicare. There is no provider network.

How our Medicare Supplement works

  • You enroll in Medicare Part A and Part B
  • You purchase our Medicare Supplement plan
  • You can purchase optional riders for additional health coverage and cost savings
  • Relax, because you can afford the health care you need

What's a rider?

Riders give you additional coverage for certain health care costs not covered by Medicare alone. You can choose from six optional riders that can save you money.

Part A Deductible Rider

If you select this coverage, we will pay 100% of your Medicare Part A hospital deductible ($1,364 per benefit period in 2019)

Part B Deductible Rider*

If you select this coverage, we will pay 100% of your Medicare Part B deductible ($185 in 2019)

Additional Home Health Care Rider
Select this coverage and we will pay benefits for an additional 325 home health care visits each calendar year, up to a total of 365 visits per year including those covered by Medicare. NOTE: Medicare covers 100% of medically-necessary home health care visits

Foreign Travel Emergency Rider

Choose this coverage and after you pay a $250 deductible, we will pay 80% of expenses for emergency hospital, physician and medical care received outside the United States during the first 60 days of a trip. Lifetime maximum of $50,000

Part B Copayment or Coinsurance Rider*

Selecting this coverage will reduce your premium. We will then apply cost sharing to your Medicare Part B expenses. Your copayment or coinsurance will be the lesser of:

The emergency room copayment or coinsurance fee will be waived if the insured is admitted to any hospital and the emergency visit is subsequently covered as a Medicare Part A expense

Part B Excess Charges Rider

If you select this coverage, we will pay the difference between the Medicare-eligible charge and the amount charged by the provider, if your provider does not accept Medicare assignment. The difference will be no more than the actual charge or the limiting charge allowed by Medicare, whichever is less

* You cannot have both the Medicare Part B Deductible Rider and the Medicare Part B Copayment or Coinsurance Rider
