24-hour Nurse Line
If you need to talk to a provider after hours, you may call our 24-hour Nurse Line at 1-800-549-3174 (TTY 711), seven days a week, including holidays, to connect with a registered nurse who can help answer your health care questions. The registered nurse will provide advice for seeking care or instructions for care at home.
Care My Way®
New in 2022, Care My Way is available 24/7!
Symptoms of certain minor illnesses can be all too familiar, but a trip to the doctor's office can take time and energy you don't have. Call Care My Way instead. For many common health conditions, you can talk to one of our nurse practitioners who can verify your symptoms and, if needed, call a prescription into the pharmacy of your choice - saving you time and hassle. Security Health Plan will cover unlimited Care My Way visits at 100% for most Security Health Plan members. Care My Way services are available in all 50 states.
Nicotine Free Program
There's no question that quitting nicotine use is difficult. Fortunately, you don't have to do it alone. With Security Health Plan's Nicotine Free Program, you'll have a coach with you every step of the way.We offer full coverage for Food and Drug Administration-approved tobacco cessation prescription drugs for most members.
Worldwide emergency care
You can get emergency care coverage anywhere in the world - no matter the situation. Don’t worry about your insurance when you have an emergency. You have coverage anywhere in the world when you need it. Use network hospital emergency rooms when you can. But if you can't reach a network provider, go to the nearest medical facility. If the facility is not in Security's network, let us know when and where you received care as soon as possible.

Pediatric dental services, as required under the Affordable Care Act, are not included in this policy. Stand-alone dental plans are available for purchase with the Marketplace. Please contact Security Health Plan or the Federally-facilitated Exchange if you are interested in purchasing pediatric dental or stand-alone dental coverage.
