Extensive network of high quality health care providers

We offer large and small employer coverage.

For large employers, those with 50 or more full-time equivalent employees (FTE), we offer Central, Valley and Statewide HMO or POS plans. Large employers who have an HMO or POS plan, and have employees who reside outside of the state, can receive access to nationwide coverage.

For small employers, those with 50 or fewer full-time equivalent employees (FTE), we have our EPO and Central HMO and POS networks. Small employers that have employees outside our service area can add an indemnity plan.

Our remarkable networks allow you to choose from thousands of high-quality doctors, specialists and medical providers. Top providers in our Central Network include Marshfield Clinic Health System, Mayo Clinic Health System, Ministry Health Care, Aspirus, Essentia Health, most OakLeaf Medical Network providers, St. Joseph’s Hospital (Chippewa Falls), Sacred Heart Hospital (Eau Claire), Western Wis. Prevea Health locations and St. Luke’s (Duluth).

The large employer Valley Network includes ThedaCare and Bellin Health Partners, including  (Bellin Health System, Dickinson County Healthcare System, Holy Family Memorial and others).

For employer groups with 50 or fewer full time equivalent employees, we offer a variety of plan options to fulfill your employees’ health care needs.

Exceptional health and wellness services

Security Health Plan promotes wellness through a variety of programs and services. We encourage your employees to stay on track with recommended visits with their doctor, advice on eating right and regular exercise. We have partnered with WebMD to offer wellness resources including confidential health assessments.
