COVID-19 vaccine information

Security Health Plan members will have no out-of-pocket costs for the COVID-19 vaccine. The Wisconsin Department of Health Services determines who is eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine.   

On August 23, 2021, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approved the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 Vaccine. This vaccine will  be marketed with the name Comirnaty, for the prevention of COVID-19 in individuals 16 and older.  It's available under emergency use authorization for individuals age 12-15.

Marshfield Clinic Health System

Our health system partner, Marshfield Clinic Health System, is scheduling appointments for those who meet the criteria determined by Wisconsin Department of Health Services.  As of May 13, 2021, anyone age 12 or older is eligible for the vaccine.
