Need a COVID-19 test?

Testing is an important tool to help reduce the spread of COVID-19. If you have symptoms of COVID-19, especially if you’ve been in contact with someone who has COVID-19, you should get tested as soon as possible. By getting tested, you protect the health of those around you.

How to get tested

Low or no-cost COVID-19 tests are available to everyone in the United States, at health centers and select pharmacies nationwide. Additional testing sites may be available in your area. To get tested:

Over-the-counter tests

You can also purchase over-the-counter  COVID-19 tests. Your Security Health Plan coverage may cover the cost of over-the-counter at-home tests you purchase. Review the table   to see how tests will be covered for your plan.

If your plan covers the cost of over-the-counter tests, be sure you purchase a COVID-19 antigen rapid at-home test that is authorized by the FDA. Then download one of the forms below. You can submit one reimbursement request per month per member on your plan. Each reimbursement request can include up to eight individual tests (a single package that includes 2 tests is equal to 2 individual tests) per plan member, per month.

If your test was purchased at a pharmacy, download the MedImpact Commercial Prescription Drugs Claim Form.

If your test was not purchased at a pharmacy, download the Security Health Plan Member COVID-19 Over-the-Counter Testing Reimbursement Request.
