Security Health Plan's formulary has been reviewed by physicians and pharmacists to ensure good quality, cost effective pharmaceutical care for all Security Health Plan members.
Security Health Plan offers three basic prescription drug benefit plan. These include open, 3-tier and closed formulary plans. Please contact Security Health Plan if you have questions about how drugs are covered under your specific prescription benefit.

All members with no prescription drug benefit can enjoy a discount prescription plan through our Security Value program.

informedMail
Members of Security Health Plan have the option of getting their prescriptions through the mail using informedMail. Using this mail order pharmacy service for covered medications and supplies or for discounts on other prescriptions can be very convenient but is not required. Using informedMail is completely voluntary. Members may continue to obtain their medication from any affiliated pharmacy. To find out if you have a mail order benefit please refer to your plan documents.
