Caffeine

There has been no specific disease related to caffeine when it is consumed at levels less than 200 mg a day. This is about 2 cups of regular coffee. Some health conditions may be aggravated by excessive caffeine use. Sensitivity varies; some people experience withdrawal when they suddenly stop using caffeine.

Check labels for caffeine content in coffees, teas, soft drinks, chocolate, prescription and over-the-counter medications.
